The NextEV Formula E Team has concluded its pre-season testing ahead of the start of the 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship. All series teams took part in the final official test at Donington Park in the UK this week from Monday 5 to Wednesday 7 September. Team race drivers Nelson Piquet Jr and Oliver Turvey both drove on all three days of the test.
The event was the final opportunity for NextEV to work on car set-up and refinement and team preparations ahead of the forthcoming season’s first race next month. The team was able to complete an impressive 266 laps, demonstrate encouraging pace and reliability and complete the planned test programme.
The 2016/17 Formula E season kicks off on Sunday 9 October with the first ever Hong Kong ePrix.
